Thank You Jeanne!

It took me 10 days before I decided to post this picture of myself.

I realize this is the first picture I have ever posted of myself on my blog.

It took this post LOVE YOURSELF from jeanneoliverdesigns.com for me to realize I need to accept who I am.

And it was not easy.

I see so many of you ladies post the most beautiful pictures of yourselves and you are all so comfortable with it.

Not me.

So this is a baby step for me to come out of my comfort zone.

And I hope I am brave enough that I don't change my mind and erase this post!

After having two children and approaching 40, I realize I am not going to look like I did in my twenties.

And I need to accept that.

So I thank you Jeanne for your post!

  1. Beautiful picture of you.....so glad you came out of your comfort zone. God's love and light is shining through you and your lovely blog. (I have to tell you that I enjoy being 40 more than I did being 20) :)

  2. Kerri,
You are a beautiful woman; please don't be afraid to post pictures of yourself because you are lovely! Your winged eyebrows, beautifully expressive eyes, Hepburn-esque cheekbones and gorgeously full lips all add up to beautiful to me. You might note I don't use a photo of myself, but I am inspired by you to take that step.

  3. You are pretty. But I hear ya, we never like what we see. I am self-deprecating and hate to see myself in pictures. Thank you Hollywood for our warped senses. God loves me just the way I am. Now maybe I will post myself....
